So cool meeting the marketing director and CEO of deviantart this past weekend at comic con! Thanks for the hookup, guys :)
Also met my favorite author, China Miéville, and got to spend some time with some other incredibly talented artists and actors - Kent Williams, Dave McKean, Barron Storey, Miran Kim, Tim Bradstreet, Frank Miller, Jhonen Vasquez, Ethan Nicolle, Andy McDonald, Ming Doyle, Thomas Jane, James Callis, and Ron Perlman! Been almost a year since my last entry. Time does fly.
Well I'm halfway done with my Design + Technology MFA @ Parsons. The second year pretty much revolves around thesis - my current idea revolves around trying to reverse the male gaze (all my attempts to come up with a thesis concept revolving around cyberpunk/comic books/Battlestar Galactica met with failure unfortunately).
